Upload error message — «Missing information in the input data»

If you get the error «Could not upload to project — Missing information in the input data» when you try to upload an inspection, it means one or more rooms have incomplete scan data.

Why does this happen?

The error occurs when the app can't generate a 3D model because the scan data is corrupt or incomplete. Common causes:

• A scan wasn't finished properly — for example if the phone was put in a pocket while scanning was still active
• The app was closed or crashed in the middle of a scan
• A room was only partially scanned

How to fix it

1. Go through the rooms in the inspection in the app
2. Look for rooms that appear incomplete — they'll typically be missing walls or have an unusual shape
3. Delete the problematic rooms
4. Try uploading again

Tips to avoid the problem

• Always finish scanning a room before you put the phone away
• Make sure each room is fully scanned before moving on to the next
