Summing several roof and wall faces (Ctrl-click)

If you need the combined area of several faces, you can sum them. Summing only works from the web.

Summing several faces (web only)

1. Hold Ctrl (Windows) or Cmd (Mac).
2. Click the roof faces or wall surfaces you want to sum — selected faces are highlighted in the model.
3. The combined area is shown in the measurement panel on the right in the web window, together with the selected faces.

Selecting at different levels

You can select individual faces or entire rooms, floors or buildings. Summing several selected faces (Ctrl/Cmd-click) is done only from the web — not on mobile.

The feature applies to both roof faces and walls, and measures the whole face — not just a single panel.

Note: If you combine interior and exterior scanning, an AI agent can calculate the exterior wall area even more precisely.
