Upload an inspection

Note — iPhone/iPad vs Android: On iPhone/iPad, scans are stored locally and you must upload the inspection manually (one-way app → web). On Android, everything syncs automatically to the web — you should not upload or delete inspections manually.

When the inspection is finished in the iOS app, you upload it to the web application for measurements, the 3D model and reports.

How to upload

  1. Open the inspection that's ready to upload
  2. Tap «Lag rapport» (Create report) at the bottom of the screen
  3. Choose an existing project or «Lag ny rapport» (Create new report)
  4. Fill in the project information (address, postcode, place)
  5. Tap «Lagre» (Save) to start the upload
  6. Keep the app open until the upload is complete

During the upload, a progress bar shows the percentage and data volume. You can cancel with the X button.

After uploading

When the upload is complete, the project is available in the web application with the 3D model, measurements and photos. From there you can generate PDF reports, add work descriptions and share the project.

The upload is one-way — data goes from the app to the web. Changes you make in the web app are not transferred back to the app. Read more in Sync between app and web.

Important: avoid uploading multiple times to the same project

Don't upload the same inspection multiple times to the same project — especially not from different devices. You risk overwriting data.

Troubleshooting

The upload fails or stalls: Check that you have a stable internet connection and try again. The inspection is still stored locally on the phone.

Error message «Missing information in the input data»: This means one or more rooms have incomplete scan data. See Upload error message for the solution.
