Sync between app and web
Note — iPhone/iPad vs Android: On iPhone/iPad, scans are stored locally and you must upload the inspection manually (one-way app → web). On Android, everything syncs automatically to the web — you should not upload or delete inspections manually.
Wenn Property consists of an iOS app for scanning and a web application for measurements and reports. Data flows one way — from the app to the web.
Data flows from app to web
All data starts in the iOS app. When you scan rooms, take photos and write notes during an inspection, everything is stored locally on the device. The data only becomes available in the web application once you upload the inspection.
How to upload:
- Open the inspection in the iOS app
- Tap «Lag rapport» (Create report) at the bottom
- Choose an existing project or create a new one
- Tap «Lagre» (Save) — the upload starts
- Keep the app open until the upload is complete
After uploading, the project is available in the web application with the 3D model, measurements and everything you documented.
One-way — not two-way sync
It's important to know that this is a one-way upload, not a two-way sync. Changes you make in the web application (work descriptions, notes, photos) are not transferred back to the iOS app. The web app is where you continue working with the data after the inspection is uploaded.
Common questions
I scanned on my phone but see nothing on the web?
You need to upload the inspection first. Open it in the app and tap «Lag rapport» (Create report). Scans are not transferred automatically — you choose when to upload.
How long does the upload take?
It depends on the number of rooms and photos. Keep the app open and make sure you have a stable internet connection. A progress indicator shows the status.
Can I upload multiple times to the same project?
Avoid this — especially from different devices. You risk overwriting data.
