Exterior measurements — roof and walls
Wenn Property automatically retrieves exterior measurements for most Norwegian addresses. When the project has a registered address, you get access to roof faces, wall surfaces and areas — ready to use for estimating and project planning.
How it works
The data is retrieved automatically from public registries based on the project's address. You'll find all exterior information under «Utside» (Exterior) → «Bygning» (Building) in the left navigation.
You can switch between 2D and 3D view with the buttons at the bottom of the main window to see the building from different perspectives.
Roof faces
Under «Bygning» (Building) → «Takflater» (Roof faces) you'll find each individual roof face with the following data:
- Area — the size of the roof face in square metres
- Pitch — the roof angle in degrees
- Orientation — compass orientation in degrees
Tap a roof face in the list to highlight it in the 3D model. A summary with the total roof area and number of roof faces is shown when you select the «Bygning» (Building) level.
Exterior walls
Under «Bygning» (Building) → «Vegger» (Walls) you'll find all wall surfaces with:
- Area — the wall surface size in square metres
- Pitch — the angle in degrees
This data makes it easy to calculate exterior area for facade work, painting, cladding and other maintenance.
Good to know
- The feature requires the project to have a registered address
- The data is available for most Norwegian addresses
- Area calculations may deviate somewhat from reality — we always recommend taking control measurements
- If no buildings are found at the address, the message «Ingen bygninger funnet» (No buildings found) is shown
