Work description — overview

The work description is a matrix that shows what needs to be done in each room — organised by category. It gives tradespeople, colleagues and clients a complete overview of the scope of work.

What is the work description?

The work description is a table where rows are work categories (trades) (Floor, Wall, Ceiling, Electrical, Plumbing, Surface work) and columns are rooms (Kitchen, Living room, Bathroom, etc.). In each cell you describe what needs to be done — for example «Lay parquet in the kitchen» or «Paint walls with a trim-free finish».

Opening the work description

  1. Open the project you want to work on
  2. Select a floor or a room in the left sidebar
  3. Tap the list view icon at the bottom centre of the screen (next to the 2D/3D switch)

The view depends on what you've selected: at floor level you see all rooms as columns, at room level you see only the selected room.

Filling in descriptions

  1. Tap a cell in the matrix (the intersection of category and room)
  2. Enter what needs to be done
  3. The description is saved automatically

Empty cells show a «+» icon — tap it to add a new description.

Filtering categories

Tap «Kategorier» (Categories) at the top left of the matrix to choose which work categories are shown. Useful if you only want to see relevant categories, for example just Electrical and Plumbing.

Fill in automatically (AI)

Tap «Fyll inn automatisk» (Fill in automatically) in the top right to let the AI suggest descriptions based on notes, voice recordings and photos from the inspection. The feature is marked BETA — always review the suggestions before you use them further.

Tips

  • Use the floor view for an overview and the room view to work thoroughly on a single room
  • Scroll horizontally in the floor view to see all rooms
  • The work description is used as a basis for the PDF report and sharing
