Door handles and swing direction
Wenn Property shows door handles in the 3D model, 2D floor plan and wall elevation to mark where there is a door. The handles say nothing about the swing direction.
What is shown?
When you see a door in Wenn Property — whether in the 3D view, the 2D floor plan or the wall elevation — it's shown with a door handle. The handle is there to make it clear that the element is a door, and to distinguish it from windows and openings.
What is not shown?
The system doesn't have data about:
- Swing direction — which way the door opens
- Hinge side — which side the hinges are on
- Door type — whether it's a sliding, folding or hinged door
The placement of the handle in the drawing is arbitrary and does not indicate which side the door actually opens from. This applies in all views — the 3D model, the 2D floor plan and the wall elevation.
What should you do?
Always check the swing direction, hinge side and door type on site during the inspection. Use notes or photos to document details the system doesn't capture — so the information is available in the work description and report afterwards.
